you will be obliged to adhere to.

Private Business:
By registering your business on this positive list you agree to the following
conditions:
- Any Direct Democracy rule or decision is final and cannot be appealed
to any internal or external authority outside the Direct Democracy.
- The rights of the listed entities are exclusively restricted to being
listed if the fee has been paid (for private entities), and if no complaint
has caused a quarantine period and no technical or other failure prevents
the proper operation of the website. For any such failure the website owners
take no responsibility. The listed entities have no access or insight to
the checking activities of the persons attached for this purpose, or to
the accounts beyond the annual publicised resume of activities.
- The annual fee is 20€ per category, 200€ totally for supermarkets, 400€
totally for department stores and 600 € per brand for transnational businesses
and is to be paid by credit card not later than every anniversary of the
registration. By lack of payment on this date your registered information
and DD-number will automatically disappear from the list. You might want
to choose the option on the payment page for setting up a standing order
for annual transfer of the fee.
NB ! For each category in each municipality the TWO FIRST BUSINESSES to register will get the first year*s subscription for FREE !
- Any complaint sent to the email address of the website regarding your
products/services/conduct will automatically be sent on to your e-mail address,
and you will then have 10 working days to reply to the complainant.
- If this deadline is not respected, your data and DD-number will automatically
disappear from the list.
- If you cannot settle the claim amicably, after discussion between the
two parties, reimbursement or repair, you will have the option of either
leaving the list for a length of time decided by the DD movement, or of
asking for a verdict of its representative.
- If the verdict is in favor of the complainant, you must accept a quarantine
period of 1 – 60 months as decided by the representative.
- Such exclusion will take place immediately, and your DD-number will
not appear on any search. Only after reinstatement to the list, will the
rest of the already-paid list fee be automatically re-activated by the computerised
list programme, and your DD-number will reappear when searched for.
- Within three months all current updates of lists of generally or specifically
banned products, brands, etc, as published under *Recently banned products*
of the website, must be complied with by the listed entities. The *Newsletter*
updates any changes of regulations.
Transnational corporations, financial institutions, banks, newspapers, TV stations, etc.
The same rules as for national private businesses apply. But complaints and discussion may take place publicly under the *Your Feedback* --> *International Discussion Forum* of the website.
Public entities:
The public sector spends a high percentage of the GNP, including
environmentally important areas and therefore needs public scrutiny. The
various agencies are admitted on the DD list free of charge.
For the DD purposes each agency is characterized by the five
parameters:
Corruption, Openness, Bureaucracy, Efficiency, *Greenness*.
As a principle, DD from the outset trusts and favors the agencies
by assuming - and in the diagrams indicating by means of *x*s - that
they live up to the general demands for public administration by being
uncorrupt, open, unbureaucratic, efficient and *green*, and possibly
extraordinarily deserves an award for good service.
With preventive aim the public currently judges whether the
individual agency really does.
In case of a justified and evidenced complaint which the agency is
unable to refute convincingly, DD cannot honestly maintain the initial
favorable rating and therefore has to cancel the relevant *x*(s) from the
diagram within a quarantine period determined by the character of the
complaint.
This does NOT necessarily mean that the agency really IS corrupt
or secret-minded or bureaucratic or inefficient or not *green*. It ONLY
means that DD on basis of the evidenced complaint cannot maintain the
original *x*(s) symbolizing compliance with DD standards.
The present rules may be changed without prior notice and without responsibility for the consequences for the listed entities. In case of change of the fees, the already paid fees will cover the remaining periods until the next annuities fall due.
